Can we immediately do wheel glass coating for a new car or new wheels?
The answer is "NO".
Wax and/or water repellent preparation might be done for new wheels. When the glass coating is applied on those, the glass coating durability will be significantly reduced and in the worst case scenario, the coating film might crack on a wheel surface.
Wheels must be washed accordingly before the glass coating.

Professional advise
You might be worry about whether those wax and water repellent agent have been removed completely.
Actually it is pretty easy to check.
Try watering on wheel surfaces and see:
- water is repelled -> there are still something on the surfaces
- water is not repelled -> the glass coating can be applied
When water is repelled, you must conduct a surface preparation for the glass coating. It is recommended to use the degreasing agent removing oil contents.
