A newly developed coating agent specially for tires
Tire Crystal has been developed specifically for rubber and tires. For decades, there were few changes in the development of tire coating chemicals, even though tires have a significant impact on the looks of a car. In addition, due to recent development of tires themselves, excessive tire wax may get scattered around while driving and cause stains on car surfaces which are very hard to remove.
SENSHA conducted fundamental re-examinations of ingredients for tire coating and developed a new type of tire coating.
Main Features
Gloss: Using ultra-high-density special silicon resin, the coating provides a finish like a new tire and restores a deep and shiny black colour
Durability: The coating lasts approximately 60 to 90 days when using ordinary car wash products
Safety: Tire Crystal is the solid type, not liquid so scattering of the coating agent does not occur while driving. In addition, it contains no ingredients such as surfactants and solvents that may damage tires
Differences between tire coating and tire wax
Contains an ultra-high-density special silicon resin
Tire Crystal, unlike traditional tire wax, does not contain surfactants and solvents which cause damage to tires (antioxidants). This product creates a tough and flexible coating film with the ultra-high-density special silicon resin to endure the harsh environments around tires. The coating film also provides the luster and deep look of new tires, combined with water-repellent, oil-repellent and antifouling performance.
Tire Crystal is totally different from traditional tire wax. It is the solid type, not liquid so there is no scattering of the agent to the car body, and hence no staining.

Tips on tire care
Many commercial tire waxes contain a large amount of surfactants to enhance their cleaning power. If you use these products, they will dissolve out antioxidants contained in the tire rubber and produce a distinctive chemical compound. This chemical compound is highly penetrating of any materials.
When you apply a tire wax which is rich in surfactants, it produces the chemical compound. If an excessive amount of this kind of tire wax is applied to your car tires, the chemical compound will be scattered onto your car body and produce stains on paint surfaces that may be extremely hard or impossible to remove.
This kind of situation has become more common with the further development of tire materials in recent years. It tends to happen more often when tires and car body surfaces are new. Our Research and Development Department is well aware of this issue.

Products in our tire wax series (Aqueous Tire Wax, Oleaginous Tire Wax, Oleaginous Tire Wax Professional) either do not contain surfactants at all or use the minimum amount to minimize a possibility of dissolving out antioxidants. Therefore, it is totally safe to utilize these products, provided an excessive amount is not applied to tires.
